At the turn of the 20th century, seven  brothers immigrated to California. Their last name? Jacuzzi. They were all very inventive and found employment as machinists in the Berkley area.

One of them, Candido, had a young son who suffered from rheumatoid arthritis and chronic pain. He found relief in hydrotherapy visits at hospitals but his father hated to see his pain in between visits. He started tinkering and found that agricultural water pumps could be adapted to provide at-home whirlpool treatments for his son.

That little boy, Kenneth, would take charge of the company and eventually make Jacuzzi a household name. The rest… is history.hot tub, spa, jacuzzi
