In the U.S. alone, more than 53 percent of pet owners also own a pool or spa. If you’re like we are, you don’t want to leave your favorite canine out of the family fun. We’ve got some great ideas for fun accessories that let Fido join in on the fun. (Don’t worry… A focus on dogs and swimming pools safety is key with these innovative products.)

Pet Escape Ramp
If you own a pool and a pooch, you’ve probably seen that pooch flailing as he or she attempts to get out of the pool. This simple yet brilliant, light-weight ramp allows your pet to easily exit the swimming pool.  Whether she’s learning to swim, having fun with the family or falls in accidentally, the ramp provides a foolproof way for them to exit the water.  It easily flips out of the water when not in use and floats on top of the water when needed.
We recently added a ramp to an indoor pool for a client who offers pet therapy and she is  booked all the time!  Hydrotherapy is good for pets as well.

Doggie Float

Fido can float in style—or stay cool as he lounges poolside. Seriously, you’re probably going to want one of these for yourself!

Here are some of the features of the float:

  • It’s ultra buoyant and strong thanks to vinyl-coated fabric and nonporous foam.
  • The puncture-resistant, woven vinyl mesh won’t stain, fade, or mildew.
  • Dampened, it will keep your pet cool and relaxed.

Doggie Life Jacket

Available in a variety of sizes, these pet life jackets provide buoyancy to keep your dog safe.  The lift handle on the back makes it quick and easy to pull them to safety if needed. When the dog is wearing one of these, you  can really feel at ease  around the pool.

This is one of our favorite accessories  Recommended by vets for both physical protection as well as protection from UV light, these doggie goggles have and extra-wide bridge for Fido’s nose, a padded and flexible rubber frame for comfort and  shatterproof lenses that provide 100 percent UV protection and anti-fogging.

Dogs are members of the family. These are just a few ways to keep our pet safe and sound while we enjoy our time by the pool.
